The Bottom Fell out

So with the housing market the way it is, I have resigned myself to the fact that I must return to the 9-5 work place, in order to receive steady income. Working on commission only, does give you the freedom to come and go at will however, when nothing is coming in, bills don't go out. I have had my resumes out and have finally accepted a position as an office manager at a chiropractor's office. I am working for a couple of Doctors we go to church with.
I feel that the market is not going to get back on track until after the elections. I feel that the up swing or back to where it was, will not be until 2009. So I am going to continue the real estate as a part time job until my license expires.
So, I guess what I am saying at this point is I may be blogging less, or at least try to blog once a month.

A wise move. It is important to be resiliant in working because there are always things that happen beyond your control. Moving from one job to another is easier when you are educated or when you have transfrable skills.

This reminds me about Mark Twain's statement to a person who stated he could not find a job. He said that if he would work for nothig he could get a job immediately. Once having the job, out work all other employees. The owner, seeing this, may let one of the goof-offs go and place you on the payroll because he does not want to lose someone so valuable. There is nothing that is more endearing to an employer than an employee that puts out more work than others and does it cheerfully.

Yippie, I was really getting tired of seeing the ol fart blog.

I'm sure this job will be a snap for you. Have fun.

We are sorry to hear of your troubles and we are confident you will do well in your new job.

Suggest you don't follow Mark Twain's advice. Even if the union lets you work for nothing the other employees will hate you. Just kidding.

Suggest the house in the photo be fixed-up before trying to sell it.

Well, you are not alone in finding something else to do until the market for your desired skills opens up again. I'm sure that there are plenty of people out there like that right now, and I hope that they can do what you've done until things get back to normal.

YOU BLOG LESS!!! You hardly blog now! Arn't you the one that made me tell my mom to start blogging and ask Debbie, Mith and Kim to start blogging as well???? Pat, your right. Get on her and get better at blogging yourself. All of you want to read blogs and make fun of people's misfortunes, but don't take the time to blog yourself.....HAHAHAHAH

The bottom of the bird house could have been saved with a little RTV at the right time.

At first I was thinking the roof on the opposite side of the birdhouse may say "See Ruby Falls".

Congrats on the job.

LOL for mom's comment about it being a "snap" and for Dad's comment about RTV !!

Tim, I took another look at the birdhouse and you are right. I have seen many a place in Tennessee that looks like that with the sign "See Ruby falls."

I'm guessing the bird house may have come from a trip to Ruby Falls. It was part of the yard art that came with the house when we bought it.
