Daniel turned 18 on Tuesday. I took him to get his own insurance for his car, then to the tag agency to get his first auto tag. On the way to the voting booths, he let me know he left his paperwork at home. So we went back to the house. I told him I needed to make a phone call and while I'm on the phone, you can go put your tag on your car........well.......when he came back in the house, I told him he was going to drive us to the school to vote and then we will go to the library to pick up the tax forms you need to file your taxes. The picture is his reaction to that information.
Funny........ I thought he would be excited........he just kind of laughed and said " you're kidding right?". What a nervous nelly........ he didn't want to drive............anyway......he did great........he hadn't driven in a couple of months.
Now... he has a permit to park at the school, so he is driving to school and to work......................

as you can see.........not much room for error when going down our drive way.

I wanted to set down some driving advice for Danny that would stay with him for the many years he will be driving. Upon second thought, he will not pay any attention to anything I say, so the heck with it.
I'd know that look anywhere. It's called the Danny look.
